Change your appearance and change what you do with your time - and your life will change.
You are more in control than you think. - Unknown.
How you dress says a lot about you. You need to actively consider the kind of image you are presenting to the world. Is it elegant? The way you present yourself will lead you to other opportunities you may not have had, for career, friendships and love.
Wardrobe Management
Many people have the misconception that it is expensive to be well dressed. Simplicity, grooming and good taste are the basics of a good wardrobe.
We will look at 3 steps to revamp your wardrobe to look chic!
1.Wardrobe Edit
Take a look at where you see yourself. Does this piece of clothing suit your new lifestyle? Create space for the new look. Start today, edit that wardrobe! Ruthlessly discard all that is not elegant, those that you haven't touched in two years, those clothes that are too big or small for you. Get the repairs done. Give it away.
2.Quality is essential to elegance.
Aim for quality over quantity. Good quality is not an extravagance; it lasts for a long time and may end up being cheaper because you get more uses of each item. It pays to have the very best that you afford.
3.Wardrobe Maintenance
How to take care of your clothes? Do your clothes require hand-wash? Dry clean only? Ironing? These are the things you have to think about before buying them. Other forms of maintenance means routinely safe-bleaching clothes to ensure the whitest of whites, getting buttons and loose zips repaired, shoes re-soled and polished and jewelry cleaned.
Updating and editing your wardrobe requires an awareness of your lifestyle needs. This is tailoring your wardrobe to your lifestyle. What kind of clothes do you need most for the lifestyle you need? Whenever there is a change in seasons, or when there is a change in lifestyle (a baby, a new job etc), you must re-evaluate your wardrobe, take an inventory, to prepare for the new season.
"To be elegant is first of all to know oneself, and to know oneself well requires a certain amount of reflection and intelligence."
